Rosedale is a North Central Austin neighborhood between 35th street and located near Hancock and North Loop Boulevard. Often blending with Bryker Woods and Allandale, Rosedale is home to some of Austin’s favorite hangouts. The area is characterized by cottage style homes often times on larger lots with great front porches. In the 50’s and 60’s Rosedale experienced some growth and as a result you can see the architecture influence of those times including the mid century modern home.
Rosedale is a very active community. On any given day you can see residents walking their dogs, riding bikes and jogging through the neighborhood. It’s a very scenic area and a real treat for those looking for a little outdoor recreation. The area is conveniently located to Shoal Creek and the parks and trails that accompany the creek. Being close to Hancock road allows residents to easily bridge with the neighborhoods just west of MoPac.
