Things to Do in 78703
As I mentioned there are loads of sights and sounds in 78703. Some of my favorite things to do include Laguna Gloria on the far West side of Tarrytown. This historic spot is also home to the Austin Museum of Modern Art (AMOA) and features some fantastic art displays and art festivals throughout the year. In addition you can hop over to Mayfield Park, do a little nature walk and see the peacocks! They are gorgeous and put on quite a show. From there you can go over to Mount Bonnell and see the hill country at its best along with Lake Austin, there is a pretty good little hike along Mount Bonnell too.
If you head south from this area you can visit several popular restaurants along Lake Austin Blvd including Magnolia Cafe, Hula Hut, Mozarts and more.
